Key Responsibilities
- Direct the full cycle of financial closing activities to ensure GAAP compliance
- Supervise and troubleshoot payroll, AP, and AR operations
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and all subsidiary ledgers
- Act as the lead liaison for external auditors and internal stakeholders
- Analyze and interpret income statements and cash flow data for executive review
Essential
- 5 to 8 years of professional accounting experience
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience leading month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
- Ability to supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Proven track record in performing complex balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
Preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting personnel
