Essential
- Bachelor’s degree
- Broad understanding of U.S. healthcare policy dynamics and sector trends
- Foundational knowledge of healthcare financing and delivery models
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Duals programs, and HCBS/LTSS/MLTSS
- Proficiency in monitoring and summarizing federal legislation and guidance
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- 2-5 years of professional experience in healthcare policy
- Applicable graduate degree in a related field
- Experience with state-based social services and support programs
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare FFS, and exchange markets
