Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create and implement the organization’s national impact strategy
  • Oversee the policy and advocacy, research and evaluation, and institutional learning pillars
  • Lead the development of annual policy priorities and author strategic reports
  • Supervise and mentor the Director of Learning and Innovation and other senior managers
  • Represent the organization as a national thought leader in public forums

Essential

  • Proven track record in executive leadership and national strategy development
  • Extensive experience in policy advocacy and legislative response at state or federal levels
  • Ability to oversee multi-disciplinary teams across research, policy, and innovation
  • Experience in driving systemic change within the education or social justice sectors
  • Strong alignment with equity-driven and inclusive leadership principles

Preferred

  • Existing network within federal education policy circles
  • Experience managing high-level partnerships with higher education institutions
