Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze federal transportation funding and supply chain reforms
  • Produce a variety of written materials from fact sheets to major reports
  • Lead and organize expert working groups to reach policy consensus
  • Support advocacy efforts to see policy solutions enacted into law
  • Stay current on evolving national transportation and climate trends

Essential

  • Ability to conduct rigorous research on federal permitting and environmental review processes
  • Expertise in drafting and editing high-level written products including white papers and issue briefs
  • Capability to manage and coordinate external working groups and expert stakeholders
  • Versatility to handle multiple evolving policy topics simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills for creating social media and digital policy content

Preferred

  • Experience interacting with high-level political leaders and policy experts
  • Background in energy-related transportation issues or climate goals
