Key Responsibilities
- Analyze federal transportation funding and supply chain reforms
- Produce a variety of written materials from fact sheets to major reports
- Lead and organize expert working groups to reach policy consensus
- Support advocacy efforts to see policy solutions enacted into law
- Stay current on evolving national transportation and climate trends
Essential
- Ability to conduct rigorous research on federal permitting and environmental review processes
- Expertise in drafting and editing high-level written products including white papers and issue briefs
- Capability to manage and coordinate external working groups and expert stakeholders
- Versatility to handle multiple evolving policy topics simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for creating social media and digital policy content
Preferred
- Experience interacting with high-level political leaders and policy experts
- Background in energy-related transportation issues or climate goals
