Key Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of institutional partnerships and philanthropic revenue
- Cultivate and steward relationships with major institutional donors
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for gifts in the $100k-$500k range
- Collaborate with executive leadership to position the organization as a top-tier investment
- Translate digital media and organizing strategies into investment cases
Essential
- Proven track record in institutional fundraising and donor cultivation
- Experience securing high-level gifts in the $100k to $500k range
- Deep commitment to racial equity and intersectional social justice
- Ability to translate complex digital media concepts into compelling narratives
- Willingness to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination/boosters (except where prohibited by state law)
- Strategic mindset with the ability to design comprehensive revenue growth plans
Preferred
- Background in digital media, tech, or civic engagement sectors
- Experience working within a nonprofit (c3/c4) structure
- Existing network within the philanthropic and institutional giving community
