Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead advocacy strategies targeting the Executive Branch and federal agencies
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory actions for potential business impact
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with Administration and Congressional personnel
- Advise senior business leaders on federal policy trends and formulate response plans
- Collaborate with trade associations and external coalitions to amplify advocacy efforts
- Contribute to the strategic direction and implementation of the AbbVie PAC
Essential
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience working directly with the U.S. Congress or the Executive Branch
- Proven track record of established relationships within the current Administration
- Demonstrated ability to master and communicate complex legislative and policy issues
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive federal advocacy strategies
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and sound business ethics
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.)
