Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze state legislation affecting life sciences, biopharma, and electronic materials
- Lobby state policymakers and governors to support corporate government relations objectives
- Develop and execute tactical strategies for state legislative and regulatory activity

Essential
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in lobbying and state-level government affairs
- At least 8 years of specialized experience lobbying within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector
- Proven track record of managing legislative priorities across a minimum of 15 states simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex policy priorities and engagement strategies
- Experience managing and tracking departmental budgets related to public policy and government affairs
Preferred
- Extensive existing network of contacts within state executive and legislative branches
- Experience with state and local economic development incentive agreements
- Background in multi-industry advocacy including electronics or advanced manufacturing
