Key Responsibilities
- Direct line management and professional development of technical R&D staff
- Distribution of work tasks and resource ownership across multiple projects
- Development and implementation of efficient R&D work processes to boost productivity
- Annual budget preparation and rigorous follow-up on execution
- Proactive reporting on project status and mitigation of deviations from baselines
- Collaboration with global engineering units and technology scouting for new IP
Essential
- Proven background in engineering with several years of product development experience
- Previous experience in team leadership or people management
- Technical background in control of power electronics
- Familiarity with Project Management and Product Development methodologies
- Experience working within multicultural and geographically dispersed teams
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability in change management and direct/indirect leadership
Preferred
- Advanced academic degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant engineering field
- Direct experience with the MACH control platform
- Knowledge of FACTS, HVDC, or Substation technologies
