Key Responsibilities
- Directing month-end close activities for complex areas including payroll and accruals
- Reviewing the work of staff accountants and providing technical guidance
- Integrating financial data from newly acquired entities into consolidated reports
- Collaborating with operational leaders to refine accounting workflows
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring GL accuracy
- Leading special projects focused on ERP system improvements and standardization
Essential
- 2–4 years of professional experience in public accounting
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to commute to the West County St. Louis office for on-site days
- Experience managing core accounting cycles and month-end procedures
- Capability to thrive in a fast-moving, multi-entity corporate structure
Preferred
- Big 4 public accounting background
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or active CPA candidate status
