- Lead and mentor a team of product designers through regular coaching and career pathing
- Own and execute strategic design projects as an individual contributor
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product leads to translate user needs into simple experiences
- Evolve the company-wide design system to ensure consistency and quality
- Navigate competitive landscapes to help products achieve market fit
- Foster a feedback-driven culture focused on tangible user outcomes
Essential
- Proven experience in a hands-on design leadership role
- Ability to manage end-to-end user experience across desktop, mobile web, and native apps
- Strong business acumen and ability to operate within a competitive landscape
- Experience navigating and resolving high levels of product ambiguity
- Expertise in establishing and evolving comprehensive design systems
- Track record of providing actionable, constructive feedback to design teams
Preferred
- Experience in the fintech or global payments industry
- Familiarity with 'Jobs to be Done' (JTBD) frameworks
- Experience working in a high-growth startup or 'zero-to-one' product environment
- Proficiency in using AI tools to optimize design workflows
