Key Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise-wide compliance and risk management strategy
- Advise the CEO and Board on regulatory risks related to new products and global expansion
- Oversee AML, OFAC, and Identity Verification programs
- Collaborate with General Counsel on licensing and multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters
- Develop and monitor compliance OKRs and risk appetite frameworks
- Foster a company-wide culture of ethical integrity and regulatory excellence
Essential
- Extensive experience in U.S. and international financial regulations
- Deep expertise in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) strategy
- Proven track record in international remittances and cross-border regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing multi-jurisdictional compliance for financial services
- Ability to advise Board-level stakeholders on enterprise risk and regulatory strategy
- Experience with OFAC and Identity Verification (KYC) programs
Preferred
- JD (Juris Doctor) degree preferred
- Experience in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry
- Background in scaling fintech startups through international expansion
