Key Responsibilities
- Direct all FP&A, accounting, and strategic financial planning functions
- Oversee the integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
- Manage revenue recognition processes for multi-element arrangements
- Design and monitor SOX-compliant internal control frameworks
- Lead fundraising efforts, investor reporting, and board presentations
- Optimize financial systems and ERP capabilities for maximum efficiency
Essential
- 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- 3 to 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity (Director or VP level)
- Extensive hands-on proficiency with NetSuite ERP
- Deep technical knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Comprehensive understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls (ICFR)
- Proven track record in high-growth technology or SaaS environments
- Experience managing complex external audits and technical accounting memos
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- Previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
- Experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital-backed organizations
- Familiarity with NetSuite modules like ARM and SuiteBilling
- Experience with pre-IPO preparation or public company reporting
