Key Responsibilities

  • Direct all FP&A, accounting, and strategic financial planning functions
  • Oversee the integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
  • Manage revenue recognition processes for multi-element arrangements
  • Design and monitor SOX-compliant internal control frameworks
  • Lead fundraising efforts, investor reporting, and board presentations
  • Optimize financial systems and ERP capabilities for maximum efficiency

Essential

  • 10 to 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
  • 3 to 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity (Director or VP level)
  • Extensive hands-on proficiency with NetSuite ERP
  • Deep technical knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
  • Comprehensive understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls (ICFR)
  • Proven track record in high-growth technology or SaaS environments
  • Experience managing complex external audits and technical accounting memos
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Preferred

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Previous experience at a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Experience in Private Equity or Venture Capital-backed organizations
  • Familiarity with NetSuite modules like ARM and SuiteBilling
  • Experience with pre-IPO preparation or public company reporting
