Key Responsibilities
- Scale the Analytics and Data Science department through strategic hiring and manager development
- Integrate data science models into core product, risk, and growth workflows
- Collaborate with Data Engineering to influence BI architecture and tooling
- Establish and enforce high technical standards for data modeling and documentation
- Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable analytical solutions
Essential
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in analytics, data science, or closely related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity, specifically managing other managers or senior-level individual contributors
- Demonstrated history of partnering with executive-level stakeholders to influence corporate strategy
- Experience working within a Mission-Aligned Team (MAT) or similar embedded organizational model
- Ability to provide technical judgment on data modeling, productionization, and documentation
Preferred
- Experience scaling data organizations during periods of rapid company growth
- Background in fintech, travel, or multi-vertical consumer tech platforms
- Advanced knowledge of building and maintaining intelligent decisioning systems
