Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive workflows for the Cody AI assistant and code search engine
- Collaborate in a triad with product and engineering leads to define feature roadmaps
- Conduct user research to validate design decisions and identify pain points
- Write and review code to better understand the developer experience
- Facilitate design workshops and contribute to the company's design system and handbook
Essential
- Ability to read and write basic code (JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python)
- Experience designing complex technical products or developer tools
- Strong understanding of the intersection between user needs and technical constraints
- Willingness to work with at least 4 hours of overlap with the EST timezone
- Proven track record of shipping meaningful product changes
Preferred
- Residency in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone
- Experience with AI-driven products or search interfaces
- Background in conducting and synthesizing user research
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or public handbooks
