Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy ML models for churn, retention, and customer activation
- Lead causal inference studies to determine the effectiveness of marketing strategies
- Collaborate with ML Platform teams to operationalize data pipelines
- Quantify business opportunities to guide the product roadmap
- Mentor the data science team on best practices and scientific rigor
Essential
- 9+ years of professional experience in machine learning, data science, or advanced analytics
- Expertise in marketing-specific data science including LTV, churn, and retention modeling
- Deep understanding of causal inference techniques such as synthetic controls, DiD, and uplift modeling
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for building production-grade ML models
- Experience with experimentation frameworks and statistical testing (e.g., CUPED, geo-experiments)
- Proven ability to partner with Product teams to define success metrics and strategy
Preferred
- Experience within SaaS, AdTech, or MarTech industries
- Knowledge of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) and identity graphs
- Familiarity with attribution modeling and incrementality testing
- Experience navigating and solving ambiguous business problems
