Key Responsibilities
- Architect foundational systems for scalable fraud, safety, and trust decisioning
- Identify and execute on cross-cutting opportunities to improve technical quality and developer experience
- Lead the adoption of AI-first engineering practices using LLMs to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to address evolving global fraud threats
- Mentor and elevate the technical bar for engineers across the Trust organization
Essential
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in backend and platform engineering
- Extensive track record of designing and operating mission-critical distributed systems at massive scale
- Proven ability to guide multi-year technical roadmaps and align long-term vision with daily execution
- Experience prototyping new systems and taking them to production-level maturity
- Willingness to remain hands-on with code while leading high-level architectural shifts
Preferred
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Experience with AI-powered engineering workflows and LLM-powered agents
- Background in fraud prevention, identity verification, or cybersecurity systems
- Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment with data scientists and operations teams
