Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical health and delivery cadence of the entire engineering organization
- Manage and integrate external vendor relationships to ensure they operate as part of the core team
- Approve architectural proposals for React apps, API layers, and Salesforce integrations
- Coach and develop senior direct reports including the Lead Engineer and Salesforce Manager
- Drive the adoption of AI-first practices to improve development velocity
Essential
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams including product and CRM-focused groups
- Strong background in full-stack architecture including React applications and API layers
- Experience managing external engineering vendors and offshore/contracted partners
- Ability to drive engineering roadmaps in direct partnership with product leadership
- Expertise in establishing sprint cadences, quality standards, and delivery metrics
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and data synchronization patterns
Preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or fintech environment
- Knowledge of AI-first engineering practices and emerging AI development tools
- Background in workforce planning and organizational design
