Key Responsibilities
- Direct supervision of the Compliance Audit and SDAG Managers
- Execution of a comprehensive risk management and compliance education program
- Leading all communications and surveys with state and federal regulators
- Investigating compliance allegations and implementing remedial measures
- Reporting audit findings and deficiencies to the Chief Compliance Officer
Essential
- Extensive experience in healthcare compliance and risk management
- Proven ability to manage and supervise departmental staff, specifically audit and grievance managers
- Expertise in conducting and overseeing comprehensive audits of clinical and operational documentation
- Experience acting as a primary point of contact for CMS and State Administering Agencies
- Ability to lead regulatory surveys from initial notification through the completion of corrective action plans
- Strong investigative skills for handling reports of non-compliance or ethical violations
Preferred
- Prior experience specifically within the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model
- Advanced knowledge of state licensing requirements in Virginia
- Experience managing enrollment denial and disenrollment processes
