Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute content strategies aligned with business goals and user needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide information hierarchy and UI design
- Draft, iterate, and edit user-centered copy for complex digital products
- Manage the end-to-end content lifecycle through CMS platforms
- Advocate for content decisions to internal stakeholders and federal clients
Essential
- Must be a United States resident and authorized to work in the US
- Must have lived in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years
- Eligibility for a federal Public Trust clearance
- Ability to provide a professional portfolio showcasing UX writing and strategy deliverables
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX writing or content strategy
Preferred
- Familiarity with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards
- Experience working within federal contracting or the healthcare IT sector
- Background in supporting localization and translation projects
- Knowledge of the Plain Language Act compliance
