Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute all aspects of the capital campaign and major gift initiatives
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-capacity donor prospects
- Supervise the Associate Director of Development and oversee annual fund strategies
- Collaborate with the Board and Campaign Committee to meet fundraising milestones
- Organize and host cultivation events, including opening night gatherings and donor societies
- Maintain meticulous records of solicitations, pledges, and donor communications
Essential
- Proven track record in capital campaign leadership and major gift solicitation
- Experience in prospect research and donor qualification
- Ability to draft and manage formal gift agreements and payment schedules
- Experience supporting and engaging a Board of Directors and Campaign Committees
- Capability to lead donor cultivation and solicitation meetings
- Proficiency in managing donor databases and gift management systems
Preferred
- Deep connections within the Philadelphia philanthropic community
