Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute all aspects of the capital campaign and major gift initiatives
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-capacity donor prospects
  • Supervise the Associate Director of Development and oversee annual fund strategies
  • Collaborate with the Board and Campaign Committee to meet fundraising milestones
  • Organize and host cultivation events, including opening night gatherings and donor societies
  • Maintain meticulous records of solicitations, pledges, and donor communications

Essential

  • Proven track record in capital campaign leadership and major gift solicitation
  • Experience in prospect research and donor qualification
  • Ability to draft and manage formal gift agreements and payment schedules
  • Experience supporting and engaging a Board of Directors and Campaign Committees
  • Capability to lead donor cultivation and solicitation meetings
  • Proficiency in managing donor databases and gift management systems

Preferred

  • Deep connections within the Philadelphia philanthropic community
