Key Responsibilities

Essential
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a legal assistant or legal secretarial role
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Experience with document comparison tools and advanced MS Word styles
- Ability to work occasional overtime as business needs dictate
Preferred
- Prior experience with e-Filing systems across various court jurisdictions
- Familiarity with legal billing processes and time-entry software
- Deep understanding of specific legal practice areas
