Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a team of 3-5 designers across product, brand, and engineering disciplines
- Establish and uphold rigorous design standards and critique rituals
- Oversee the evolution and scaling of the internal design system
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Marketing on roadmap execution
- Ensure design excellence and craft quality across all platform touchpoints
Essential
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management capacity within a high-growth scale-up
- Proven track record of managing diverse design roles including product, brand, and systems
- Demonstrated expertise in typography, interaction design, and visual craft
- Experience building or maintaining scalable design systems
- Outcome-oriented mindset with a focus on product impact over simple output
- High level of agency and the ability to make decisive moves in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in integrating AI tools into the design and management workflow
Preferred
- Background in B2C fintech or high-traffic consumer applications
- Extensive experience with mobile-first product development
