Key Responsibilities
- Directing the maintenance and improvement of streets, stormwater, and traffic systems
- Managing municipal facilities, public grounds, parks, and the vehicle fleet
- Developing and overseeing long-range capital improvement plans
- Leading emergency response operations and maintaining 24-hour availability
- Coordinating with the Municipal Administrator and Council on strategic initiatives
Essential
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in public works or infrastructure management
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity
- Valid Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers’ License (CDL) Class B
- Proven experience with municipal operations and capital project delivery
- Ability to remain on call 24/7 for emergency response situations
- Expertise in developing and executing annual operating and capital budgets
- Ability to maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, and government entities
Preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration
- Direct civil engineering or construction experience in traffic, storm sewers, or public property
- Incident Command (IC) Training and Certifications
