Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate a safe and engaging atmosphere for students in grades 1-4
- Support the delivery of developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Assist students with homework and academic reinforcement
- Manage mealtime setup, distribution, and cleanup
- Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the program day
Essential
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Availability Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Commitment to the full program duration through May 2026
- Attendance at the Spring fundraiser event in April 2026
- Participation in mandatory professional development and monthly check-ins
- Ability to pass PA State Police Criminal Background Check (Act 34)
- Ability to pass PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Ability to pass FBI Record Check Clearance (Act 114)
Preferred
- Interest in artistic exploration and emotional learning
- Experience in community-based youth programming
