Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a safe and engaging atmosphere for students in grades 1-4
  • Support the delivery of developmentally appropriate lesson plans
  • Assist students with homework and academic reinforcement
  • Manage mealtime setup, distribution, and cleanup
  • Monitor student safety and well-being throughout the program day

Essential

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Availability Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
  • Commitment to the full program duration through May 2026
  • Attendance at the Spring fundraiser event in April 2026
  • Participation in mandatory professional development and monthly check-ins
  • Ability to pass PA State Police Criminal Background Check (Act 34)
  • Ability to pass PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  • Ability to pass FBI Record Check Clearance (Act 114)

Preferred

  • Interest in artistic exploration and emotional learning
  • Experience in community-based youth programming
