Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex entrepreneurial needs into simple, polished product experiences
- Execute end-to-end design within 6-week development sprints
- Develop and evolve the platform's design system and component library
- Utilize AI tools to create functional prototypes and bridge the gap to production code
- Engage directly with users to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation
Essential
- Ability to own the design lifecycle from project pitch to final shipment
- Proficiency in designing for both web and mobile platforms
- Technical literacy and comfort collaborating deeply with engineering teams
- Experience working within and contributing to a unified design system
- Ability to conduct and synthesize customer interviews to build user empathy
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week in Newport Beach, CA
Preferred
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for prototyping
- Background in visual, web, and brand design beyond core product design
- Experience in a fast-paced, founder-led or startup environment
