Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of oncology patients
- Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy and biological agents
- Manage blood product transfusions and monitor for adverse reactions
- Coordinate care plans with the multidisciplinary hematology team
- Educate patients and families on treatment side effects and home care
Essential
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Willingness to comply with mandatory influenza vaccination policy
Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
- Prior experience working with oncology or hematology patient populations
