Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term technical strategy and platform architecture
- Lead full-stack development and maintain a production system used by hundreds of clients
- Oversee critical decision-making regarding security, scalability, and data compliance
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align technical output with business goals
- Develop new AI-driven tools to automate compliance workflows and reduce operational costs
Essential
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience
- Previous experience in a high-level leadership role such as CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Engineering
- US Citizen or valid US work visa holder
- Proven track record of owning product features across the entire stack
- Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
Preferred
- Experience within the Y Combinator ecosystem or similar high-growth startup environments
- Background in building fintech, legaltech, or compliance-focused software
- Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and service-provider integrations
