Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain the company's semantic layer and core data models
- Develop automated pipelines to process product events and AI system logs
- Establish data governance standards and automated quality checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build BI dashboards and self-service tools
- Optimize data warehouse performance and manage infrastructure costs
Essential
- Proven experience building and maintaining scalable data models
- Expertise in transforming raw event streams and AI system logs into structured datasets
- Ability to develop modular transformation pipelines using dbt or similar tools
- Experience implementing automated data quality testing and schema validation
- Proficiency in building and maintaining ELT pipelines
- Experience with CI/CD workflows for analytics codebases
- Ability to translate complex business questions into technical data requirements
Preferred
- Experience tracking LLM-specific metrics such as latency, cost, and quality
- Background in supporting A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment
- Familiarity with building data catalogs for self-service discovery
