- Architect and implement a comprehensive compliance engine including policies and training
- Convert complex Medicare and state-level regulations into clear operational steps
- Oversee the integrity of the advocate marketplace to ensure ethical and legal standards
- Serve as the primary internal authority on healthcare privacy and regulatory shifts
- Scale the compliance function from an individual contributor role into a full department
Essential
- Proven experience building compliance programs within the healthcare sector
- Deep understanding of HIPAA and federal healthcare privacy regulations
- Familiarity with Medicare programs and state-level healthcare rules
- Ability to translate fragmented legal requirements into actionable business processes
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
- Strong background in designing controls, monitoring systems, and reporting structures
Preferred
- Experience managing compliance for a multi-state marketplace or platform
- Background in managing independent contractor or advocate networks
