Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all R&D initiatives for the bread and pastry product lines
  • Engineer new product formulations and optimize existing recipes
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to identify and execute new product concepts

  • Oversee the transition of products from lab-scale prototypes to full factory production

Essential

  • Bachelor of Science in Bakery Science, Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in bakery product formulation
  • Proven track record in managing complex R&D projects from concept to launch
  • Experience with pilot lab execution and plant-scale validation trials
  • Ability to develop and document technical recipes and sample request forms

Preferred

  • Master Baker certification
  • Certified Pastry Chef designation
  • Experience with international food markets (Canada, Mexico, Central/South America)
