Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Bronze-Silver-Gold data architecture and ensure adherence to technical standards
• Manage an offshore engineering backlog and mentor two internal Power BI analysts
• Design and approve certified Power BI semantic models for Sales, Finance, and Operations
• Establish data governance protocols, including lineage tagging and metric definitions
• Lead the migration and retirement of legacy data structures into conformed models

Essential

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure stack including ADLS Gen2 and Synapse Serverless SQL
• Deep expertise in dimensional modeling, star schemas, and conformed dimensions
• Proven ability to design and manage Power BI semantic models and complex relationships
• Experience managing offshore engineering vendors and internal analyst teams
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data transformation pipelines using Delta/Parquet formats

Preferred

• Experience migrating legacy data structures to modern lakehouse architectures
• Background in establishing data governance frameworks and data dictionaries
• Ability to define and maintain data contracts across domain boundaries
