Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain core data pipelines for financial reporting and product analytics
- Migrate legacy SQL and Liquibase transformations into dbt with full documentation
- Establish best practices for data testing, alerting, and runbook-driven operations
- Partner with Finance and Product teams to define data interfaces and contracts
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate code quality standards across the team
Essential
- Extensive experience designing and owning scalable ELT/ETL pipelines
- Proven track record of migrating legacy data flows to modern stacks
- Expertise in modeling data for performance and usability in cloud warehouses
- Experience implementing data quality frameworks and observability standards
- Ability to balance pragmatic short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals
Preferred
- Experience with OpenMetadata or similar metadata management tools
- Background in financial engineering or billing systems
- Experience in a high-growth healthcare technology environment
- Familiarity with domain-driven design patterns for analytics
