Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Maintain the core SaaS financial model and track vital health metrics like NRR and CAC
- Oversee all accounting operations including AP, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare executive dashboards and materials for Board of Directors meetings
- Implement scalable finance tech stacks and internal spend management controls
- Support strategic initiatives such as pricing optimization and fundraising diligence
Essential
- 8 to 12+ years of professional experience in finance, FP&A, and accounting
- Proven track record in startup or high-growth corporate environments
- Direct experience overseeing accounting close cycles and controllership duties
- Deep understanding of SaaS-specific financial metrics and business models
- Expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business decisions
Preferred
- Hybrid background combining startup agility with formal accounting rigor
- Experience implementing or scaling enterprise-grade accounting and finance software
