Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching new business strategy in partnership with the CEO
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial prospecting to final contract execution
- Recruit, hire, and lead a high-performing sales team as the function matures
- Act as a market consultant to senior executives at major studios and streaming services
- Provide critical market feedback to the Product team to influence the development roadmap
- Maintain rigorous data integrity within the company CRM
Essential
- 7 to 10 years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding new business revenue targets
- Extensive experience selling data or analytics solutions
- Deep knowledge of the entertainment industry, including streaming economics and content licensing
- Ability to work during US business hours
- Experience presenting complex analytical concepts to non-technical C-suite stakeholders
Preferred
- Previous experience at an innovative, high-growth startup
- Experience as a founding sales lead or first sales manager
- Background in disrupting established markets with new technology
