Key Responsibilities
- Lead the SEC registration process and maintain ongoing regulatory filings
- Develop and enforce compliance policies for portfolio management and conflicts of interest
- Define organizational substance and staffing requirements to meet SEC expectations
- Oversee compliance monitoring across a diverse portfolio of sub-advised funds
- Coordinate with IT on cybersecurity and data retention protocols
Essential
- Deep expertise in SEC private fund adviser regulations and Form ADV filing processes
- Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive written compliance policies
- Experience managing AML/KYC frameworks and fiduciary duty oversight
- Capability to lead annual compliance reviews and manage SEC examination responses
- Knowledge of books and records management requirements including 6-year retention and email preservation
- Experience in conducting due diligence on GP sub-advisers regarding qualifications and conflicts of interest
Preferred
- Experience launching a US presence for an international financial services or investment firm
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance coordination for investment advisers
- Background in multi-fund governance and monitoring diverse fund structures
