Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the chief strategist and mission steward for the entire organization
- Lead the successful launch and operational integration of the new Maryland campus
- Drive the completion of a $150 million comprehensive fundraising campaign
- Recruit and mentor a Chief Operating Officer and other key senior staff
- Strengthen partnerships with hospitals and community organizations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast
- Ensure the long-term financial sustainability and programmatic excellence of all sites
Essential
- Proven track record of executive leadership in a complex, multi-site organization
- Experience leading large-scale fundraising initiatives or comprehensive capital campaigns
- Ability to serve as a high-profile national ambassador and spokesperson
- Strategic expertise in organizational scaling and geographic expansion
- Deep commitment to the mission of serving children with serious medical conditions
- Experience reporting directly to and collaborating with a Board of Directors
Preferred
- Experience in the non-profit, healthcare, or youth development sectors
- Background in managing large-scale capital projects or new facility launches
- Experience in executive recruitment and building high-performing leadership teams
