Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the chief strategist and mission steward for the entire organization
  • Lead the successful launch and operational integration of the new Maryland campus
  • Drive the completion of a $150 million comprehensive fundraising campaign
  • Recruit and mentor a Chief Operating Officer and other key senior staff
  • Strengthen partnerships with hospitals and community organizations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast
  • Ensure the long-term financial sustainability and programmatic excellence of all sites

Essential

  • Proven track record of executive leadership in a complex, multi-site organization
  • Experience leading large-scale fundraising initiatives or comprehensive capital campaigns
  • Ability to serve as a high-profile national ambassador and spokesperson
  • Strategic expertise in organizational scaling and geographic expansion
  • Deep commitment to the mission of serving children with serious medical conditions
  • Experience reporting directly to and collaborating with a Board of Directors

Preferred

  • Experience in the non-profit, healthcare, or youth development sectors
  • Background in managing large-scale capital projects or new facility launches
  • Experience in executive recruitment and building high-performing leadership teams
