Key Responsibilities
- Direct a team of engineers in building core application platform infrastructure
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for service frameworks and RPC pillars
- Manage multi-quarter execution of high-impact platform initiatives
- Recruit and coach top-tier engineering talent to maintain high technical standards
- Collaborate with product leadership to align infrastructure goals with business needs
Essential
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems or platform infrastructure
- At least 2 years of direct engineering management experience leading high-performing technical teams
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable infrastructure with strict adherence to SLAs
- Demonstrated track record of recruiting, hiring, and retaining elite engineering talent
- Experience managing the full software development lifecycle including testing and quality assurance
- Compliance with federal contractor COVID-19 vaccination mandates
Preferred
- Prior experience building and operating cloud-native SaaS platforms
- Ability to mentor senior-level individual contributors into leadership roles
