Key Responsibilities
- Manage admissions and transfers to the critical illness recovery unit
- Perform ongoing, detailed physical and neurological assessments
- Interpret telemetry strips and laboratory results to adjust care plans
- Lead or assist in Rapid Response and emergency code situations
- Educate patients and their support systems on recovery milestones and home care
Essential
- Active and valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire
- Ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Preferred
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute or critical care setting
- Experience with telemetry and lab data interpretation
