Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and finalize SaaS customer agreements, including MSAs, renewals, and amendments
- Lead privacy advisory for the EMEA region, focusing on GDPR compliance and DPIA assessments
- Develop and maintain legal playbooks and fallback positions to streamline the sales cycle
- Partner with Product and Security teams to integrate privacy-by-design into new features
- Manage vendor procurement reviews and internal legal knowledge management
Essential
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 years post-JD legal experience
- Significant experience in SaaS commercial contracting with a focus on sales-side negotiations
- Deep understanding of European privacy frameworks including GDPR and UK GDPR
- Must be physically located within a European time zone
Preferred
- Residency in Ireland or the United Kingdom
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and cultures
- Background in building scalable legal templates and playbooks
