Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the agency's donor portfolio and maintain long-term relationships
• Secure corporate sponsorships, celebrity endorsements, and items for live/silent auctions
• Oversee the development team and ensure a strong, engaging social media presence
• Lead grant writing efforts and identify new alternative funding opportunities
• Coordinate and execute all internal and external fundraising events and seasonal activities
• Report on fundraising progress and financial goals to agency leadership

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fundraising and marketing
• Proven track record in grant writing and identification
• Demonstrated experience in community relations and public speaking
• Valid Colorado driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) with a clean driving record
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening including fingerprints and abuse/neglect clearances
• Ability to pass a health evaluation/physical to confirm fitness for duty

Preferred

• Experience managing a development or marketing team
• Established network within the Colorado donor and corporate community
• Experience with non-profit social media management
• Background in organizing high-end auctions and seasonal fundraising campaigns
