Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the agency's donor portfolio and maintain long-term relationships
- Secure corporate sponsorships, celebrity endorsements, and items for live/silent auctions
- Oversee the development team and ensure a strong, engaging social media presence
- Lead grant writing efforts and identify new alternative funding opportunities
- Coordinate and execute all internal and external fundraising events and seasonal activities
- Report on fundraising progress and financial goals to agency leadership
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fundraising and marketing
- Proven track record in grant writing and identification
- Demonstrated experience in community relations and public speaking
- Valid Colorado driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening including fingerprints and abuse/neglect clearances
- Ability to pass a health evaluation/physical to confirm fitness for duty
Preferred
- Experience managing a development or marketing team
- Established network within the Colorado donor and corporate community
- Experience with non-profit social media management
- Background in organizing high-end auctions and seasonal fundraising campaigns
