Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AML and KYC frameworks
- Consult on the legal distinction of skill-based gaming for regulatory bodies
- Facilitate the relationship and technical onboarding with high-risk payment providers
- Conduct periodic audits and oversight of the active compliance program
- Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on state-specific gaming laws
Essential
- Proven experience developing and implementing AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies
- Deep understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) protocols and identity verification
- Ability to advise on regulatory positioning for skill-based vs. chance-based competitions
- Experience with high-risk payment processor onboarding and maintenance
- Availability for ongoing, hourly support as required
Preferred
- Specific experience with gaming compliance in the state of Indiana
- Background in iGaming, Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), or sweepstakes models
- Previous experience in Fintech or the payments industry
- Experience working with early-stage startups during pilot launches
