Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of five internal engineers plus external consultants
• Oversee the mechanical development of safety gear and communication accessories
• Manage the department budget, resource allocation, and project prioritization
• Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap for the Accessories division
• Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous process improvement

Essential

• Proven leadership experience in a technical or engineering environment
• Strong background in mechanical design and product development
• Experience with line management, including coaching and competence development
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, and financial follow-ups
• Expertise in resource and capacity planning for complex projects
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills

Preferred

• Experience working in a dynamic, international corporate environment
• Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE) or safety-critical products
• Background in driving continuous improvement for engineering tools and methods
• Experience collaborating with external consultants and global stakeholders
