Key Responsibilities
- Direct the overall strategic and operational vision of the Foundation
- Advise the Board on governance, policy implementation, and long-term strategy
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team of 30 staff members across two locations
- Ensure the financial health of the organization through rigorous budgeting and planning
- Cultivate partnerships with municipal leaders, First Nation communities, and provincial funders
Essential
- Extensive senior leadership experience within the public sector, non-profit, or social services landscape
- Demonstrated history of reporting directly to or working closely with a Board of Directors
- Proven track record in strategic organizational planning and capital project oversight
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget development and fiscal sustainability
- Exceptional relationship management skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
Preferred
- Specific expertise in affordable housing regulations and operations
- Deep understanding of municipal governance structures
- Experience working with First Nation communities and multi-municipal boards
