Key Responsibilities

Essential

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program recognized by the US Department of Education or CHEA
  • Active certification or registration as a Medical Assistant (AMT, AAMP, AAH, AAMA, or NCCT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross
  • Ability to maintain certification status throughout the duration of employment

Preferred

  • One year of professional experience in a medical office or clinical environment
  • Experience working within a rural health clinic setting
