Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of nurses, social care workers, and healthcare assistants
- Coordinate service planning and resource management for day services
- Ensure strict adherence to Health Act Regulations and safeguarding policies
- Maintain supernumerary oversight of clinical and administrative operations
- Foster educational opportunities and QQI course participation for service users
- Participate in a weekend rotation (1 in 6) and occasional late shifts for staff support
Essential
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration nursing experience
- At least 2 years of experience specifically within Intellectual Disability services
- Proven management experience (3 years) or documented supervisory/PPIM experience
- Full clean manual driving license and access to a personal vehicle for work duties
- In-depth knowledge of Health Act Regulations and New Directions standards
- Comprehensive understanding of Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse and Neglect Policy (2015)
Preferred
- Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability (RNID) qualification
- Formal qualification in Healthcare Management
