Key Responsibilities
- Directing grid operations and field service activities for BESS assets
- Establishing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Leading performance and operations engineering teams to maximize asset reliability
- Managing relationships with OEMs, O&M partners, and remote operation centers
- Translating technical operational data into actionable business insights and financial impacts
Essential
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in energy or power operations
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or people management capacity
- Direct experience working within or managing a Control Room or Network Operations Center (NOC)
- Deep technical understanding of high-voltage systems and inverter-based resources (IBRs)
- Operational experience with utility-scale solar PV or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Proven track record managing third-party O&M (Operations and Maintenance) providers
- Must currently reside within the United States
- Ability to work without visa sponsorship
Preferred
- Engineering degree or a strong technical academic background
- Hands-on experience in the field or close proximity to field service operations
- Direct experience establishing or 'standing up' a new NOC or control room facility
- Experience with ISO/RTO market optimization strategies
