Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure total compliance with accounting standards
- Oversee the full AP/AR cycle and complex revenue recognition tasks
- Identify and execute opportunities to automate manual accounting workflows
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to audit and validate financial data
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic field
- 4 to 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
- Expert-level skills in Excel and Google Sheets
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in a remote-first professional setting
Preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or active CPA-track status
