Key Responsibilities
- Directing the overall administration and strategic vision of the MPA
- Providing expert guidance to the Board of Directors and member agencies
- Ensuring the continued financial health and 'Accreditation with Excellence' of the authority

- Fostering strong, transparent relationships with 21 different member agencies
Essential
- Extensive executive leadership experience in a public or private sector environment
- Deep understanding of insurance programs and risk management principles
- Proven track record of fiscal management and business acumen
- Experience working with or reporting to a Board of Directors
- Ability to manage a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) or similar multi-agency organization
Preferred
- Experience specifically within California municipal or county government structures
