Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of technical and management proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and Sources Sought notices
- Collaborate with Business Development to create and implement capture plans for the government market
- Assist potential customers and agencies with the identification and submission of federal grant applications
- Maintain and update the internal library of proposal assets, forms, and historical data
- Support Program Managers by tracking action items and organizing project documentation for Integrated Project Teams
Essential
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in bid management, proposal development, or technical writing
- Proven ability to lead technical and business proposals for U.S. contract opportunities
- Experience coordinating proposal schedules and managing multi-functional content creation
- Expertise in writing and editing for clarity, uniformity, and professional readability
- Ability to ensure strict adherence to U.S. Government formatting and contractual requirements
- Proficiency in maintaining proposal libraries, templates, and compliance matrices
Preferred
- In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Familiarity with the Defense Acquisition process (DoD 5000)
- Understanding of various contract structures including FFP, CP, T&M, and IDIQ
- Experience with the full procurement lifecycle from inception to closeout
