Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, and NestJS
- Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform
- Collaborate with clients to define technical requirements and project roadmaps
- Champion engineering best practices like TDD and clean code within the team
- Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Essential
- Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to work from the Chicago office at least three days per week
- Proven experience building scalable and secure web applications
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript fundamentals
- Expertise in developing backend services and APIs
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Deep understanding of state management and API integration patterns
Preferred
- Experience working in a client-facing or consultancy environment
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Deployment Manager
- Previous experience in a high-growth startup or expanding international firm
